SHINING CHANCE!

This picture was taken on a Moravian Falls cabin retreat in 2015. (I added the verse recently.) That day I asked God to help me to be more a barer of His Presence.

He said okay

and in 2017 into the wilderness I was led.

Recently He reminded me of Jesus’ stay there too.

Into the wilderness my Savior went ahead. (Matthew 4:1-11)

Tested and tempted. He stood under the lies.

How did He do it? By seeing His life through Heaven’s eyes:

Worship only the Lord your God; man does not live by bread alone; don’t test the Lord Your God.” (Matthew 4:1-11)

This world is not My home!

Those who are the most Heavenly minded can do the most Earthly good.

I was led into the wilderness and sifted…so I could SHINE BRIGHT as I should!

I won’t forget on the mountain top what I learned in the valley.

The valley prepared me for the fight, with the enemy lurking on Stronghold alley.

My weapons are not carnal. Yet They are strong for pulling lies down. As I climb the mountain of my sphere of influence…my knees will repeatedly meet the ground.

Praising, praying, proclaiming my Father’s Words. I’m taking a page from Jesus playbook:

Faith comes by hearing DAILY and abiding by every Word.

How do I carry His Presence? Yes, It’s a daily walk of yielding faith! This world is not my home, but I’ll bring Heaven down to this place.

It’s through communing and yielding to His Spirit. There is good He’s prepared for me in advance.

As I walk out of the wilderness this year, I know NOW’S my shining chance!

“So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then THEY WILL GIVE THEIR PRAISE TO YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.”” Matthew 5:16 TPT
