Hell? NO! Heaven’s Yes!

Date: September 11, 2001.

In 11th grade AP History…watching the terrors unfold.

History books in my desk had not fortold.

is the world we were expected to venture into past 18.

was the world that held so much promise, possibility, and PAIN…unforseen.

As I sat in the seat and soaked in THIS 9/11 truth, I wonder what else coarsed through my mind as a disillusioned youth.

Was it this thought that marked that day’s reality?⁉️:

⁉️Could THIS world be its own hell before eternity?⁉️

They went to work that day and had no clue. They said their good mornings and terrorists caused their “aduie”.

Then I think of so many who sacrificed their lives. They went into burning buildings hoping another…would survive!

So I answer the above ⁉️query⁉️with a defiant, “HELL? NO!”

I believe Hell isn’t merely a place that some will go. Hell is found when we embrace evil like hell’s echo!

From our own hands/lips “hell” can be found. Lord saves me not merely from Hell but from being a “living hell” walking ’round.

I choose again today to be the change I so long to see–18 years later–in loving memory.

Let’s be ambassador to bring Heaven’s light down…servants who has boots (or heels) on earth’s dark, evil ground.

I choose.

We choose.

In honor of those who lost their lives…to shine our light so boldly to darkness’ demise!

No longer sitting at a student desk, I will serve History…because Heaven has my YES!

He was Heaven’s Yes!

Likewise, on God’s green earth you were made to thrive and bless.

My pen is my paintbrush, and words are my artistry. I plan to use them both to inspire us to live JoyfullyAlive, because WE WERE MADE TO THRIVE!
